Who is Princess Mary?
Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark, is a member of the Danish royal family. She is married to Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark, who is the heir apparent to the throne. The royal couple have four children: Prince Christian, Princess Isabella and a set of twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.
Princess Mary's early life
"My biggest memory is of Diana walking up the red carpet with a very, very long train," she says. "But I don't recall wishing that one day I would be a princess. I wanted to be a veterinarian." Mary Elizabeth Donaldson was born on February 5, , in Hobart, Tasmania, the youngest of Scottish-born maths professor John Donaldson and university secretary Henrietta Clark Donaldson's four children. The princess-to-be's parents had emigrated from Edinburgh to Australia in the early sixties, becoming citizens of the country in (Her mother Henrietta passed away in , and John married author Susan Elizabeth Moody four years later.)

Mary Elizabeth Donaldson was born on 5 February in Hobart, Australia, as the third daughter and youngest child of John Donaldson and the late Henrietta Horne. Mary&#;s parents were both Scots, and they were married in Scotland on 31 August In November that same year, they emigrated to Australia. Mary&#;s father is a professor of applied mathematics, and her mother worked as the Executive Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor of The University of Tasmania.
Mary first attended school in at the Clear Lake City Elementary School in Houston, Texas, where the family lived for a short period due to her father&#;s work. After the family returned to Australia, Mary studied at Sandy Bay Infants School from until and at Waimea Heights Primary School from until , both schools being located in Hobart. The Queen attended Taroona High School from to and then during the next two years continued her studies at Hobart Matriculation College, where The Queen was also an active sportswoman. Her Majesty enrolled at the University of Tasmania in and graduated in with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Law (B Com. LLB).
Between and , The Queen qualified for a Certificate in Advertising from The Advertising Federation of Australia (AFA) and later a Certificate in Direct Marketing from the Australian Direct Marketing Association.
